Team Spars is an official technical team of SRM Institute of Science and Technology , indulged in designing and development of Fixed Wing Drones with students from various engineering backgrounds mainly Aerospace, Mechanical, CSE and Mechatronics. We participate in National and International competitions along with it team researches in autonomous and coordinated landing which are unpowered alng with it works on day to day problems faced in aviation industry.We are one of the few teams representing India at SAE AERODESIGN CHALLENGE INTERNATIONAL. Split into four technical domains, namely, Aerodynamics, Structures, Flight systems and Coding.The team involves day to day interchange of ideas between individuals with different backgrounds helping us to develop dynamic solutions for our problems.
