Team Rhythms Information

Community African Drumming Team Rhythms offer brand new African Drumming Workshops for anyone interested in experiencing the joy of music through drumming. There is no musical experience necessary, only a sense of fun! Drums will be supplied for the workshops with the option to purchase your own drum if you wish. Drumming has been shown to be great for stress release and an overall sense of well being. Corporate African Drumming Team Rhythms specialise in corporate team building workshops using African drumming. Our experienced facilitators provide a unique environment for your team unite and discover the benefits of working together. Each participant is equipped with a djembe (African drum) and everyone, regardless of ability, is able to participate in a non-competitive way, developing a sense of community and team spirit within your team. Team Rhythms creates a fun atmosphere for your team and envelopes them in the stirring beat and rhythms of West africa. They are lead on a journey of discovery using communication, listening skills and co-operation, into a world of primal music that moves the soul and unites a common bond. The entire experience will promotes equality as everyone is on an equal footing. The workshop is also designed to encourage interdependence with the introduction of interweaving rhythms. Each individual needs to maintain focus and must rely on others in their team to maintain the 'groove'.
