Team Forces Information

Team Forces delivers social impact across the armed forces community through the power of sport, challenge and adventure. Our initiatives improve health, wellbeing and recovery by promoting excellence, equality and inclusion. We help the best get better. We promote excellence and help the Forces’ sporting talent to succeed by reducing the cost of participation, supporting grass roots activity, and by encouraging and assisting our elite athletes to compete at the highest level. We also increase the opportunity for our injured troops to take part in competitive sport. Standards are high, many are already competing in open competition at international level with their sights set on the Olympics and Paralympics. Since our launch in January 2011, we have distributed over £13m in grants to nearly 80 service sports associations, many of whom have never before enjoyed private sector funding.
