Team 302 has been a part of FIRST since 1996. We have developed and grown from our first few years of competing in FIRST. Our team has learned that not only are we a team in a massive competition against other teams, but that the FIRST program is like a extended family. Each team has their own goals and each team can help achieve the goals set by team members, which in turn, helps us all succeed. Being an team in FIRST with almost eleven years experience, we have seen hard times with the economy in recent years. We have thought of other ways to find money, such as cashing in bottles and cans, pancake breakfasts, and coin cans. The team has seen many different ways of helping in our community. We have helped with a food shelter, a Cell Phones for Soldiers drive, a coat drive, and much more. Team 302 has helped greatly in our community and helps people understand the FIRST message and develop a new generation of science and technology leaders.
