TDR Training & Trust Information

TDR is a specialist training and apprenticeship provider delivering high-quality engineering, business administration and science apprenticeships across the North East. We recruit, support and develop apprentices from Level 2 through to Levels 3 and 4, working in partnership with over 150 employers and supporting more than 400 learners across the region. Our employer-led approach ensures that every programme is aligned with real industry needs, producing skilled, work-ready professionals. A key strength of TDR is our flexible approach to apprenticeship delivery. Employers can select the training content their apprentices receive and when it is delivered, allowing programmes to be tailored around business needs. Apprentices can start at any point throughout the year, with no restriction which is typical from a traditional college with fixed curriculum schedules. Alongside apprenticeships, TDR delivers HNC qualifications in: Engineering Manufacturing Electrical & Electronic Engineering We also offer an extensive portfolio of technical, practical and health & safety training, including: Electrical and Mechanical training 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Hydraulics and Pneumatics CAD Welding: TIG, MAG, STICK and Oxy-fuel cutting Slinging and Lifting Kaizen training IOSH Managing Safely IOSH Working Safely All training is delivered from our state-of-the-art facility at Longbenton (Newcastle), home to our training school, head office and teaching facilities. Our modern environment supports hands-on learning using industry-standard equipment.
