Our goal at Sunrise Orchards is to grow the best tasting apple that you've ever had while taking care of our soils, our trees, our waterways and the insects and animals that live here. We are constantly looking for ways we can grow apples with the fewest inputs, while maintaining a high level of quality. We love the challenge of growing food for our community and ourselves and we are excited about the current conversations around local food production. We invite you to try all of our apples and we welcome your feedback.

What started out in 2003 as an idea with a few trees, has now grown to an orchard of more than 500 trees. We now have over 12 varieties. From Beacon to Zestar, we've got your favorite. We are easy to find, just 25 miles north of Brainerd and 4 miles north of Pequot Lakes on Highway 371. During the season we will be open weekends from 10-5 or until we sell out for the day. We do occasionally run out and close the orchard early, so please check the website to make sure. Our season starts around the end of August or usually when the State Fair is going on. The majority of our apples are pre-picked and sold by the pound and we occasionally have seconds too. Seconds arent as pretty, but they still taste great. Just ask. Last year we also tried letting people pick there own and it went very well. So this year, again , we will let you pick your own on certain varieties.
