Taurus Packaging was established in 1977 as a manufacturer of potato sacks in Cape Town. During 1979 the factory relocated to Northern Kwazulu Natal to get closer to the general sack market customers as well as the dominant paper suppliers. Since then much expansion has taken place which has lead Taurus Packaging to be amongst the leading paper bag manufacturers in South Africa and a specialist supplier to the general paper packaging industry.
