TSUL at a Glance Established in 1918, Tashkent State University of Law is the oldest law institution in Uzbekistan. TSUL is located in the heart of Tashkent, and surrounded by main government bodies, Supreme court, Ministry of Justice, and Ministry of Internal affairs where gradutes of the university utilize the knowledge gained during educational years at its full. Student Body The University has a total enrollment of about 3775 students. Approximately 170 students are in the full-time master’s degree including international students from CIS and overseas countries enrolled for this academic year. A First-Rate Faculty: Our faculty, an outstanding group of leading scholars in every major area of law, define TSUL’s intellectual vitality. 258 lecturers with majority hold advanced degrees, 29 doctors of juridical science, and 73 Candidates of Juridical Sciences operate in the university. TSUL faculty members are accessible to and engaged with their students, creating a dynamic learning environment. Faculties TSUL has four faculties: Public Law; Criminal Justice; Private Law; International Law and Comparative Law; as well as 12 specialized and 3 general education departments.
