We offer an experienced team of estimators, project managers, and site foreman directing a skilled workforce. Tartan Drywall Limited was founded by Mr. Donald Chisholm, PQS in Halifax in 1976. The company operated in the Atlantic market from 1976 through 2008, and in the Bermuda market from 1996 through 1999. Experiencing steady growth in the multi-unit residential, commercial and light industrial sectors, the company grew from just two employees to over one hundred during peak periods. During that time, Tartan worked on providing quality installations and professional service at fair price. Chris Chisholm joined the company as a summer student in 1987, and then as a full time estimator in 1989. After working in other senior construction industry roles from 1995 through 2007, Chris returned for an opportunity to continue the good work that his father started. He purchased the commercial assets and incorporated Tartan Interiors Limited in 2008. Our senior Estimator, Gordon Tucker became a partner in the company in 2012. We offer an experienced team of estimators, project managers, and site foreman directing a skilled workforce. Our labour force generally runs between 50 and 100 people, enabling us to provide depth in many specialized areas of our core business. Tartan Interiors Limited and affiliated companies are provided bonding through the Guaranty Company of North America. Our banking services are provided through the Bank of Montreal.
