The Association for P.O.O.L - We at TAP would like to take this opportunity to welcome amateur pool players of all skill levels, to an exciting team based league in North America. Founded in 1994 by league President Loyd Schonter, this pool league is now considered to be the fastest growing league in North America. Our motto is not necessarily to be the biggest, but to be the BEST! With a handicap system equal to none, weekly handicaps are computed using some eighty computations at the headquarters of TAP based in Myrtle Beach, to give the fairest handicap possible. Tabulated using your completed shots, missed shots, balls made on the break, safeties, and the number of balls left on the table after your game, not to mention that all calculations are done on one main computer instead of by individual league operators across the country, we believe this makes for a much more accurate handicap. Provincials- At the end of every session (there are 3 sessions per year), qualified teams from all over Ontario gather to compete in the largest payout tournament in the area. Each year, the Provincials Tournament is growing and growing, with the last event having a total prize purse of $14,000, with the top team gaining bragging rites to the "Masters Cup" and the B Board team getting bragging rites to the "Fergus Cup" To find out how you can join and compete in this tri-annual event, contact a League Representative TODAY!
