Now focussing on Data Integration including for AI deployment. My last 10 years have been focussed on increasingly sophisticated application development in Excel & Power BI which have made clear the need to separate data from functionality. Once separated, we can take advantage of ideas like ‘one workbook that nobody saves*’ enabling true multiuser desktop applications. The data can be stored locally or better still in the cloud where it can form part of an integrated data strategy. We have two-way API connectivity to a range of applications including most accounting packages so we can push 1000 invoices to Xero from Excel at the push of a button. We have a fully accountable API to SQL Server that means users can never overwrite each other’s data Once you have control of Excel and the data, Power BI and other analytics are easily deployed. *Imagine a team of people with hundreds of versions of Excel files that get disjointed over time as tweaks are made. Fixing them is problematic and expensive. Instead, have one master workbook that everyone uses. They open it and say what they want to do and the data they need appears; they make changes, close without saving and miraculously those changes are now available to very user when they access the workbook. We have in-depth experience of delivering relationship marketing and operational management strategies for a range of forward thinking clients.
