The name ‘Taneira’ is derived from two words; ‘Tan’ meaning body and the Sanskrit name ‘Eira’ for Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, art, and craft. Taneira celebrates the diverse textiles and crafts of India, reimagined in apparel for discerning Indian women. It is home to a unique collection of handwoven sarees, beautiful kurtas and embroidered blouses, crafted in a continuous and meaningful collaboration with established weavers, celebrated artisans and Taneira’s design team.
