Tamturbo manufactures 100% oil-free high-speed turbo compressors for industrial compressed air, from 115 to 325 kW (155–435 hp). Our Touch-Free™ technology replaces oil-lubricated bearings and gearboxes with magnetic bearings and direct-drive high-speed motors. Nothing touches, so nothing wears. There is no oil in the air, no oil in your process and no waste oil to handle, and variable speed operation matches air production to actual demand. The result is the lowest total cost of ownership in compressed air: lower energy consumption, no oil-related maintenance, minimal service and a long service life. For industries where air purity is non-negotiable, such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, electronics and textiles, contamination risk is removed at the source. The technology is our own, developed and manufactured in Tampere, Finland.
