Once your clothes are no longer being worn, you can use them as currency to get something new - extending their lifecycle and reducing your carbon footprint, without having to spend a penny on your next purchase. --------- In the past 15 years clothing production has doubled, but the average number of times each item is worn has declined by almost 40%. The Ellen MacArthur Foundation has identified “increasing the average number of times clothes are worn” as the best way to reduce the environmental impact of the clothing industry. With enough items of clothing on this planet to dress the next 6 generations, our collective wardrobe already has everything we could desire - we simply need to benefit from its full value!
