Using occasional backing tracks, guitar, vocals, a small P.A. system and hand percussion, 'Berta presents tunes that are familiar to her audience. Singing along and dancing are always encouraged! 'Berta also incorporates entertaining stories, occasional original topical parody-type lyrics and some factoids and trivia about the music being presented. The whole presentation is appropriately amplified according to the size of the room. Twenty-five years of professional experience with various sized bands and combos -- and performances at venues around the country and abroad -- have provided 'Berta with a well-rounded musical expertise and versatility few can match. Bottom line: A love for performing and sharing good music combined with a respect for the age demographic of independent and assisted living-type facility residents equals an entertaining good time for all!
