Belgian owned premium food delivery company Take Eat Easy reached a landmark milestone in its history when it achieved 1 million successful deliveries across all four of its markets (France, Belgium, Spain and UK) on July 12th 2016. What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that company did this on comparatively small budgets versus the competition. Benchmarking against it closest competitor, Take Eat Easy raised €16 million in fundraising in 2015 versus Deliveroo, who by comparison, raised €200 million in 2015. 2016 also saw the launch of UberEats into the marketplace, backed of course by its parent company and modern day unicorn, Uber.
