Tailwind Collective Information

Tailwind Collective was born from a simple observation: too many organizations struggle with fragmented strategies because teams work in silos. Too many strategic plans end up gathering dust on shelves because there's no clear system for execution. Too many mission-driven organizations, especially in public media, struggle to find partners who truly understand how to align creative vision with operational reality. We founded Tailwind Collective in 2023 because we've lived those frustrations ourselves. The idea started the way all good stories do, scribbled on a napkin, fueled by too much coffee and a wild idea. As veterans of public media with more than 50 years of combined experience, we realized that our experience bridging the gaps between teams creating content, communications teams promoting it, and operations teams making it all sustainable could benefit others across the country. We believe in a calling to support organizations doing incredible work for their communities, but struggling to bring their teams together around a cohesive strategy.
