Tails to Tell Animal Rescue Shelter Ltd. was founded with several key beliefs: "No Kill" When animal rescues use the term "no kill", it is describing the practice of not routinely euthanizing animals in order to make space for more. We do euthanize for medical reasons and aggression. Our reasoning behind this is that we cannot accept euthanizing a perfectly good family companion simply because we did not have the resources to find the animal a home. As a society, we have created the problem of over-population of companion animals, and as members of that society we are attempting to take responsibility where others have acted irresponsibly. In other words, it is not the animal's fault that it was born and unwanted.
