Group TAFE Access Limited (TAL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE), one among the 41 Group companies of The Amalgamation Group, involved in the distribution of passenger vehicles, and the manufacture and marketing of hydraulic pumps and cylinders and panel instruments to discerning customers both in India and overseas. Company TAFE Access Limited is a subsidiary of Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited. Its operations include, manufacture of hydraulic pumps and cylinders in its plants located at Kelambakkam near Chennai. Apart from this, TAL makes panel instruments in its plant at Velachery in Chennai. It is also a well-established name in the vehicle franchise business. Back in 1995, TAL established a modern plant in Chennai to design, develop and manufacture high quality precision instruments for engineering applications - such as vehicle and engine instrumentation like instrument clusters, gauges, sensors, sender units and switches for tractors, trucks and two wheelers. TAFE Access Limited started distributing SKODA cars in 2001 in Bangalore. Later in 2005, the distribution was extended to Mangalore.
