‘Not possible’ does not exist to me. I love creating the best content from your footage: find that specific look in the eye of the actor that makes the audience laugh, or find that one perfect shot that tells the story. Sometimes there’s plenty of time to explore all options, sometimes the first cut has to be presented within hours. Creativity makes that happen. Always. My final goal? Cutting the best commercial ever made. For more than 5 years I enjoyed being Managing Director of Postoffice, a leading post-production company in Amsterdam. However in 2013 I decided to go back to my film-editing roots and started my own editing company. My mobile editing facility makes it possible to operate extremely flexible on any location, whether it’s at your agency, shooting location, an airplane or train, as long as there’s a power socket, I’m up and running. Agencies such as N=5, Selmore, BBDO Germany, Dear, TBWA\, DDB, Y&R, Alfred, Etcetera, Indie and many others have used my experience, as well as brands like KLM and Nike. Graduated from the Dutch Film Academy (Editing, Sound Design) in 1996, I've been focusing on the advertising industry in Amsterdam. I use my experience to coach young talent and students. Not only to teach them, but also to learn from them, as I think it’s vital to stay in touch with the next generation of filmmakers.
