After earning her Bachelor Degree in Design, Table Tonic's Louise Bell worked as Art Director/Creative Director of Cosmopolitan magazine for over 10 years. Shes had a passion for style, design and fashion since her teens, and gained much inspiration from her career in the publishing industry. Frustrated by the lack of affordable, quality homewares in Australia, Louise Bell launched Table Tonic, an online homewares store in 2008. Fast forward a decade, and Table Tonic now proudly boasts an ever-expanding selection of handmade, vintage and fair trade pieces, including fashion, accessories and homewares. Louise's "graphic designer eye" constantly draws her to creative, quirky and unusual new products, sourced from far-flung corners of the globe; India, Morocco, Africa, Afghanistan, Turkey, Tunisia, Mexico and Italy (as well as Australia), with an ever-present emphasis on both quality and affordability.
