Taaleem Foundation Information

Taaleem Foundation started its operations of implementing social change in the deprived areas of Balochistan in 1989; where its founding Chairman Dr. Zafar Qadir was serving as a ‘Political Agent’ / Deputy Commissioner in Kohlu Agency. The model of ‘Kohlu Grammar School’ developed and tested over two years was subsequently replicated in other parts of Balochistan in a successful manner. The communities being served are in and around the district / tehsil headquarters in the remote, under-privileged and low-income tribal districts of the province, like Kohlu, Sui (Dera Bugti), Zhob, Loralai, Kila Saifullah, Muslim Bagh, Mastung and Pishin.
