The Syrian British Medical society was formally established on the 7th July 2007 by a group of British medical professionals of Syrian descent. The Syrian British Medical Society is a non-profit, non-political organization embracing all health care professionals of Syrian decent, residing in the UK. The Society aims at promoting the highest professional and ethical standards amongst British-Syrian Health care Professionals, and the creation and promotion of academic and professional links with the Health care Profession in Syria and related organizations worldwide.
