Synergy Sport + Mental Health Information

A mental health clinic that explores the individual as an athlete and applies this understanding to the formulation of their struggles. A major focus of the clinic is active wellness, and exercise as medicine. Physical activity is always a part of the treatment plan. Psychiatric assessments can occur on-site or through a telemedicine platform that would allow remote clinical encounters. This clinic will also treat high performance and elite athletes, including those who wish to focus on the important yet problematic areas of their sport. Approaches used include guided dissection and understanding of the problem areas, as well as a detailed suggestions about how to reduce the problematic factors that reduce performance output of quality of life. Assessment and treatment is also cprovided for athletes of all ages. Evaluation of mental health challenges in athletes following concussions is also provided.
