syncIT was established in mid-2010 as an owner operated business. Its focus was supporting small and medium sized businesses in the local areas of urban Christchurch. Following a series of large earthquakes across Canterbury and resultant growth in demand for IT recovery services, syncIT became very aware of the poor quality of services being offered in the market place to unsuspecting businesses in need of urgent assistance. We found ourselves being called on to undertake corrective actions to address the problems caused through poor IT practices. It was this experience that motivated syncIT to expand its focus into both small and medium businesses and establish a more formal business structure. In January 2012 the step was taken to become a limited liability company, with a strong commitment to growth and development over the coming years.
