Synchronicity Earth Information

Synchronicity Earth is a UK-registered conservation charity and trust-based philanthropic funder working to address overlooked and underfunded conservation challenges for globally threatened species and ecosystems. We exist because the species, ecosystems, and communities most in need of support are too often the ones receiving the least. We work to reimagine environmental philanthropy – shifting how funding flows so that local organisations, Indigenous Peoples, and communities closest to the work receive flexible, long-term, relationship-led support. In 2025 we provided £6.4 million in funding to 161 partners across 41 countries, with a target of £7-8 million for 2026. Our mission We champion effective global conservation action and approaches for overlooked and underfunded species and ecosystems. Our strategy (2023-2027) Conservation: increased action and funding to efficiently protect overlooked and underfunded species. Capacity: amplifying marginalised voices by creating a collaborative, well-funded, equipped, and resilient sector. Culture: championing biological and cultural diversity to address the systemic drivers of biodiversity loss within industrialised nations.
