Synaptic Controls’ proprietary artificial intelligence software works with existing point of sale cameras to identify when a cash transaction/return occurs and customer presence, and matches this up to existing point of sale transaction data. If camera data does not match up with point of sale data, the transaction is flagged. All flagged transactions are recorded and sent to the business manager in real time or daily. Customer also receives weekly push notifications of key loss prevention point of sale metrics. Synaptic Controls installs a device that only requires internet service and power. This device communicates with existing POS, surveillance and DVR systems.
