Symvan Securities is the corporate finance arm of the Symvan Group (“Symvan”), which also includes an asset management division - Symvan Capital. Symvan focuses on high-growth business opportunities for investors and believes that its portfolio approach to investing in ‘disruptive’ technologies should mean outperformance of hedge fund indices, partially but not entirely predicated on the tax reliefs granted by HMRC to investors. Symvan frequently (but not always) has invested in the EIS opportunities at the SEIS stage. We are very aware of the need for follow on financing, which is why Symvan Securities and Symvan Capital have so many synergies. We are also acutely aware of the need for an exit strategy for all of our portfolio companies in a 3-to-5 year period.
