Building datacenters—even the most efficient datacenters—is expensive and burdensome, especially because new datacenters have to be built to keep up with data growth, which isn’t going to slow down any time soon. So Symform’s founders set out to design a cloud solution that bypassed the datacenter problem. They ended up with the world’s first distributed cloud storage network. Today, the Symform team is creating the world’s largest datacenter, without ever building a datacenter.
