The magical tale of Sylcon starts with K. Hamzoo, Chief Mentor & Founder, who dared to dream big in life. His dream powered by a strong will became a reality in 1968, with the establishment of a new showroom for footwear and bag at Kochi with the brand name 'Sylcon'​. Under the aegis of K. V. Shiraz, the Group Chairman and son of K. Hamzoo, Sylcon went through a sea change. From being a single brand showroom, it transformed into a multi-brand outlet. It became a single stop destination for footwear and bags shoppers. Prominent national and international brands like Westisle, Nike, Puma, Red Tape, Lee Cooper, Id, Woodland, Adidas, Fila, Provogue, Hush Puppies, Carton,Doc&Mark,Lotto,FrancoLeone,Ganuchi,Vip,Skybags,Footloose,Samsonite,American tourister,Playboy,Kiwi,Scholl,Wolly,Vega,Aerosoft,Fizik,Action,Polo, Belkin to name a few begun to adorn Sylcon showrooms. The range of selection for both footwear and bags too rose significantly. The footwear section saw the arrival of casual, formal, party wear for men, women and kids. More than 1000 different varieties of travel bags, ladies hand bags, school bags, and accessories like wallets, belts, purses etc. were made available. Over these years Sylcon has earned the respect of its customers for being a brand of the masses – by providing high quality footwear and bags at affordable rates. As a result, today Sylcon find itself as the largest footwear and bags retail network in South India with 16 showrooms spread across major cities like Kannur, Thalassery, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Thiruvalla, Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram, Thodupuzha and Angamaly.
