It was started by André E Roodt, M Eng. graduate from University of Stellenbosch. The company has extensive experience in the development of mission critical software for government, enterprise and industry. The primary service offering is bespoke enterprise cloud solution development utilizing the Microsoft technologies C#, ASP.NET, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB and deployed to Azure platform as a service. For Government, solutions that Sybu Data developed that are currently in production and in daily active use are BCEPS (Biometric Co-Enrolment) for South African Medical Research Council (first release 2010) and SuperSign for South African Departments of Agriculture Fisheries(first release 2010) , and Department of Land Reform (first release 2011). For clients in the financial industry we have development Broker Deal Note Management System (first release 2016) for medium enterprise in Mauritius, and a Broker Management System for (cloud release 2015, first release 1998). We have developed products for the industrial industry, specifically fruit and grape automation software that performs deterministic millisecond process control. There are more than 100 active installations in South Africa, Europa, North and South America. The South African Bureau of Standard (SABS) Design Institute awarded the Vizier Grapesizer the Design Excellence Awards of 2010, for Engineering Category, with André Roodt as the software contributor. Sybu Data also provide mobile app development, and more specifically native iOS for iPhone, iPad. One of our mobile software apps, has more than 2 000 000 (March 2017) downloads from the Apple AppStore, with an average star rating of 4.6 out of 5 from worldwide user base.
