Mission: Collaborating, educating, and sharing. Statement of Purpose and Primary Business Methods: The SWON Libraries consortium exists to support superior library services at the best value to all of our communities in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky. SWON members benefit from our excellent continuing education, resource sharing opportunities, collaborative partnerships, and community-driven interest groups. We advocate for the needs of libraries in our region at the State and National level. Vision: Members of the SWON Libraries consortium will achieve their highest potential: · they will be indispensable partners within their communities; · they will be proactive advocates for the thoughtful and free exchange of information; · they will be efficient, effective and innovative collaborators and · they will be confident, adaptable, and proficient contributors to their libraries. SWON Libraries consists of academic, public, school and special libraries in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
