Swim Manitoba Information

Swim/Natation Manitoba is the governing body of competitive swimming in the Province of Manitoba. It is a vibrant organization with 18 club members located throughout the province, which includes over 1500 competitive swimmers, over 300 coaches, and over 1300 officials and volunteers. Our programs range from the grassroots/developmental level to the high performance/provincial team. Our corporate office is located at 200 Main Street (Room 224) in the Sport Manitoba Building located in downtown Winnipeg. Our office hours are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday. Our office is closed for all Statutory Holidays and during the Christmas and New Years break. To ensure efficient and effective customer service we recommend that you contact our office in advance to make arrangements to meet with either of our two full-time staff personnel. Complimentary parking is available underground for your convenience. Our mandate is to produce fast swimmers....our goal is to make the experience a healthy, fun, exiting and rewarding adventure. Swim/Natation Manitoba's vision is: to promote, foster, teach and perpetuate the art and sport of swimming to stimulate public opinion in favour of providing proper accomodation, adequate facilities, and trained instructors for practising and acquiring the art of swimming, and for demonstrating the art in competitions between swimmers to sanction and regulate the operation of swim competitions under the jurisdiction of Swim / Natation Manitoba to advocate and encourage the construction of swimming facilities to encourage and adhere to the practice of recognized methods of water safety
