Swig Information

SWIG is a not for profit information, ideas exchange and networking organisation which focuses on the use of sensor and associated technologies for measurement and control in water and wastewater treatment processes and infrastructure, as well as in natural environments and waters. SWIG has been in existence since 1996 and holds a number of networking workshops throughout each year on a range of topics relating to various aspects of water sensing and measurement. In particular, SWIG promotes the dissemination of information on sensor developments, current and future regulatory requirements and fosters collaboration between partners. The SWIG membership is made up of representatives from the water industry, sensor manufacturers, regulators, academics, consultants and others with an interest in water monitoring and sensing. As well as keeping up to date with technical advances, our workshops are a great place to meet new customers, suppliers and research partners!
