Sweet K Information

Sweet K was founded by Kristin Foristall in the Fall of 2009. As a new stay-at-home mom to Kaiya, the youngest of the sweet 'K's, she began baking cookies for friends and family as a hobby. Sweets of all shapes and sizes have been an important part of Kristin's life from the beginning. Kristin's mom Karen, another sweet 'K', is an avid baker who taught Kristin what she knows from an early age. Kristin graduated from Bentley University in Waltham, MA with a degree in Information Systems and furthered her education at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY with a degree in Retail Merchandising. Kristin has combined her creative and business skills with her passion for the sweet things in life to create Sweet K. Sweet K has quickly grown from a hobby into something much more. We produce custom sugar cookies for all occasions from birthdays to first communions, with a wide variety of designs ranging from sports themes to festive holiday patterns. Each cookie is hand crafted, using all natural ingredients. Whether you need a centerpiece for an upcoming event or favors for a party, Sweet K cookies are the perfect answer! We recently launched a new line of healthy and YUMMY cookies! They are gluten free and paleo friendly, which means they contain no wheat or soy, no refined sugars and no dairy. Try all three flavors which are available at our store. At Sweet K we work hard to give back to our local community as well as various charities nationwide. We support local businesses such as Seven Acre Farm in North Reading who supplies our farm-fresh eggs. We also use Cabot butter based in Vermont, King Arthur Flour in Norwich, VT and raw organcic cacao. We are also proud to support the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life, Kyleigh's Cure and Wrapped Up in Sports Quiltathon. Sweet K is a proud member of the Young Women's League of Reading, Connect the Tots of Reading and South Coastal Banks' Dynamic Divas.
