Swedish Stockings’ mission is to change and influence the hosiery industry. We are the world’s first eco-friendly hosiery brand, producing pantyhose out of sustainable materials through a sustainable production process, with over 300 retailers in and outside of Sweden. Pantyhose are one of our biggest consumables and are designed to rip easily in order to make the industry more profitable. Each year, two billion pairs of pantyhose are produced, worn once and then discarded. We believe the world needs more innovative and environmentally conscious products to lead the way, and we believe that sustainability can be achieved without sacrificing great design and quality. From these values, Swedish Stockings was born. A forerunner in sustainably produced nylon stockings, Swedish Stockings produces beautiful pantyhose from recycled yarn. Our factories engage in sustainable practices including the use of environmentally friendly dyes, post-dyeing water treatment and the use of solar power for much of the energy needed in the manufacturing process.
