In 2008, Melissa Ben-Ishay was fired from her job in advertising. Passionate about baking since childhood, Melissa decided to do what she loved and Baked by Melissa was born. Today, Baked by Melissa is famous for its signature, bite-size treats. With the idea that people should be able to taste more flavors without a post-dessert guilt trip, Melissa personally develops all of Baked by Melissa’s unique, bite-size creations and product offerings. Baked by Melissa operates 14 locations and ships nationwide.

Universal Yums was founded in 2014 with a simple concept: give people an opportunity to try unique foods and flavors from around the world. Our flagship product is a monthly subscription box offering snacks and candies from a different country each month. We've shipped over 8,000,000 boxes and have been featured in Forbes, Buzzfeed, and The New York Times for our novel product and rapid success. In addition to our flagship product, our subscription box, we are focused on driving new business by introducing new and exciting products within the food and beverage space.
