The concepts on the site are built on the foundation that in order to have effective learning - online learning or in the classroom - it is as important to connect learners with other learners as it is to connect learners with quality content.

Creative Arts Academy is a unique learning facility for children and adults. We develop the minds and bodies of our students through quality instruction. While some desire to become professional dancers and competitive gymnasts, others use their training for pure enjoyment and physical activity. Our goal is to appeal to both.

Dr. Cecile Binmoeller is a licensed psychologist in California who founded the Child Development Academy with the hopes of empowering children, adolescents, and families by providing the highest quality of mental health care. The academy offers therapy, comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, and consultation to parents and schools. Parenting is increasingly complex as a greater number of responsibilities are being placed on children and their caregivers. The Child Development Academy is committed to helping children and parents: 1) Foster strengths and identify vulnerabilities and needs 2) Effectively navigate challenges by developing coping and problem-solving tools 3) Connect with others through meaningful relationships 4) Feel more engaged in life by utilizing mindfulness-based tools. Dr. Binmoeller earned a combined Ph.D. in Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology, a M.A. in Research Methodology, and a M.Ed. in School Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is dedicated to helping families achieve their full potential by fostering resilience, mindful engagement, and meaningful relationships.
