Sustain:Green combines social + environmental responsibility with innovative biodegradable credit and prepaid cards designed to fight climate change. The biodegradable card both reduces the cardholder's personal carbon footprint and funds rainforest preservation. We reduce your carbon footprint by an initial 5,000 pounds for every card activated, and then an additional 2 pounds for every $1 spent. All the money we spend offsetting carbon is used to fund rainforest preservation. The Sustain:Green MasterCard let's you make a difference every day, and it has no annual fee. We designed our cards in conjunction with the American Carbon Registry, one of the leading global carbon offset registries. We are working with Mata No Peito and Winrock International, a global non-profit, on the rainforest initiative. The Sustain:Green MasterCard is issued through Commerce Bank, who for the fifth consecutive year, has been among the top ten on Forbes’ list of America’s Best Banks. Our business model builds community awareness on the science of global climate change through an interactive website.
