Sustainable Horizon Information

Sustainable Horizon’s mission is to create authentic volunteer opportunities promoting sustainability through community service and environmental conservation. Participants act as catalysts for sustainable development and are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for those living in the present and the future. Sustainable Horizon provides participants with a global experience in which they will not only gain a sense of awareness and respect for the natural world and the different cultures that inhabit it, but also immerse themselves in those cultures and give a helping hand to those in need. During our 10-28 day programs, students experience a combination of community service, adventure and cultural immersion. Our small group size of just 8-15 participants fosters personal attention, positive group dynamics and a rich educational environment. Our programs challenge students to broaden their perspective of the world and to understand new customs and cultures.
