Sussex Investment & Trading Society Information

The Sussex Trading & Investment Society aims to unite people with a common interest in trading financial markets. We meet on a weekly basis to share trading ideas and to learn from one another. The Society will run like an investment fund; this meaning that each Society member will be running a virtual portfolio and each one portfolio will be a component forming the Society portfolio. Each week the members will meet to share trading ideas and to trade their portfolios, while the manager keeps track of the Society’s portfolio equity on a daily basis. We also host be hosting webinars to share our trading ideas for the next few days. Due to the diverse backgrounds of the members, each member will have to go through the Intensive Trader Training Program (ITTP). This course will be a weekly accelerated training program for beginner traders. The ITTP will cover the basics on risk management, position sizing, news events, fundamental data and technical analysis. Once a member has completed the ITTP, he/she will need to pass a test on the material covered in the ITTP.
