Surfside Construction was established by Owen Poppy in 1985 to specialize in top quality interior woodwork and architectural detailing. Since inception, Surfside Construction has gained much respect in the Lower Mainland's fine home building community, both among builders and owners. In recent years, Surfside Construction has expanded services to provide clients the opportunity to participate as their dream home projects are carefully managed from start to finish. Surfside Construction President, Owen Poppy, obtained this Trade Qualification (Click to view Certificate) based on a four year Carpentry Apprenticeship (Click to view Certificate) in British Columbia. He has worked in most aspects of the building trade. Prior to starting the Company, Owen completed his Journeyman Program at age 26 with 6 years experience already gained. A proven reputation for exceptional workmanship, the result of Owen's keen interest in detail, afforded Surfside Construction the opportunity to enhance the interior of many of the Lower Mainland's finest homes. Now, Owen enjoys providing his clients with a positive experience as they are involved in the construction of their own beautiful custom homes.
