The Danish Agro group mainly operates within the sale of feedstuff mixes, ingredients and vitamin mixes, fertiliser, crop protection, seed and energy, plus the purchase of crops from farmers. The group is also distributor of a number of strong farm machinery brands, and runs an extensive chain of hobby and leisure retail outlets. The Danish Agro group has around 5,000 employees and is co-operatively owned by 9,000 Danish farmers. Our focus is on being the best possible business partner to our customers and owners. Our decision are based on their needs. Danish Agro was established in 1901 as a local cooperative. A number of fusions and acquisitions has changed the company from a local, to a regional, a national and now an international player. Today the parent company Danish Agro a.m.b.a stand on the shoulders of a number of proud Danish agribusinesses, which have become part of the family during the years. We are proud to be part of the Danish co-operative movement, and we take pride in running our business in accordance with the original co-operative principles.
