Supercomputing @ GT Information

Supercomputing @ GT is a student-run organization under the Georgia Tech College of Computing. Our mission is to increase awareness and accessibility to supercomputing/HPC for students. We welcome beginners and strive to provide space for students to gain insight into the field. Members get exposed to Georgia Tech supercomputing resources, research, and opportunities. Our most popular event tends to be our Supercomputing Faculty Panel which features professors and researchers at Georgia Tech! We also feature workshops, talks, and guest speaker events from industry and national labs. The vision is to develop a community of Georgia Tech students interested in supercomputing, and meaningfully foster supercomputing education and enthusiasm. With Georgia Tech’s supercomputing clusters, students can gain tangible computing skills: experience with Linux, system admin skills, applying software parallelization, benchmarking multi-node systems, applying systems architecture knowledge, and more.
