Superblock Public Co., Ltd. ("company") was founded on December 20, 1994 with the registered capital of THB 150 million in order to operate the production and to supply Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (4 th grade), comprises of blocks, panels and lintels, under "Superblock" trademark and employed the machines which are the advance technology from WEHRHAHN, Germany. Apart from building materials, company also supplies laying mortar cement and plastering cement for laying and plastering processes as well as supplies the hand tools and other equipments which especially designed to work with Autoclaved Aerated Concrete. Superblock's products can be replaced with all brick walls with cement finishing. The company is the first among autoclaved aerated concrete manufacturers in Thailand who received Thailand Industrial Standard Certification (TIS. 1505-2541) as well as ISO 9001: 2000 standard. Currently, Superblock Public Co., Ltd has 1 production facility, located on the area of 58 rais of Singburi province, which consists of the sand storage area, mineral and sand grinding buildings, maintenance building and autoclaved aerated concrete production building which has the full capacity of 2.3 million square meters annually. The company can enjoy a major advantage since it has its own sand source, located on the area of 187 rais, close to its production facility. The enormous high quality sand can be obtained from here which is sufficient for 20 years production (estimated by the engineer of Superblock Public Co., Ltd ). Superblock has been supplied most of its products for domestic market and some parts have been exported to international markets. The company's products can be divided into 3 categories; (1) light weight concrete which consists of blocks, panels and lintels (2) processed adhesive product for autoclaved aerated concrete and (3) tools and other equipments especially designed to use with autoclaved aerated concrete such as trowels, chasing tools, hand saws and mortar mixer. The annual revenue of the company for the fiscal year of 2003 which categorized according to the revenue from the main products (autoclaved aerated concrete products, processed adhesive product and tools and other equipments for work with autoclaved aerated concrete) and other revenues have the proportion of 99.79 percent (96.92 : 2.68 : 0.18) : 0.21 of the total revenues respectively. At the end of 2003, the company has conducted the major overhaul on the production processes. As a result, the company has the current maximum production capacity of 2.30 million square meters annually. On September 2004, the company has been employed the production capacity of 92.0 percent by which the first 9 months of the year 2004 the company has been employed the production capacity of 89.28 percent of the maximum production capacity. The company has a plan to invest approximately THB 465 million on the 2 nd production facility which will be located within the same area as the 1 st plant. The maximum capacity of 2.30 square meters can be obtained from the 2 nd production facility. It has been expected that the 2 nd production facility can start the production commercially within the2nd quarter of the year 2005 which will increase the maximum production capacity of the company to 4.60 million square meters. Apart from this, the company is now in the middle of conducting the feasible study on building the 3 rd production facility by considering the suitability and conformity with the situation of the real estate industry and the demand of the construction materials. The proportion of the revenues occurred from the operation for the first 9 months of the year 2004 have been increased 310.43 percent when compared to the same period of the year 2003 which equaled to 22.26 percent as a result of the increase in sale volumes.
