Sunshine PAWS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescue and adoption. We specialize in the rescue of animals from Northwest Indiana shelters and high-kill shelters in other areas. We place the animals in caring foster homes, preparing them for successful adoption into their FOREVER HOME . We gladly serve as an educational resource for the public regarding the prevention of cruelty to animals. Our focus on the importance of microchip ID's spay and neuter awareness is one of the ways we hope to reduce the population of homeless and stray animals in our community. Sunshine PAWS works with talented and committed volunteers and professional veterinarians to provide all animals in our foster care with medical attention and a safe haven prior to placement in their permanent, loving FOREVER HOMES .
