For 5 decades, Sunny Acres Sports Systems (SASS) has adapted to changing playing fields, but our commitment to quality and integrity remains unchanged. Over the years, our team has built something even more durable than our synthetic and natural turf systems… a reputation for excellence. In the early 60’s our founder, Lester J. Belcher, Jr.started his business journey. As a General Contractor, he expertly managed his share of high profile municipal projects while continuing to provide construction services to the commercial and residential markets. Les, III has coached our team since 1991. He brings considerable management skills to the table. To date, he’s logged a successful 31 year track record specializing in landscaping, site development, excavation, and home building. Today, SASS draws upon decades of proven experience to design, build, install and maintain synthetic and natural playing fields. Our service area covers the Mid-Atlantic Region and the mission is to help colleges, municipalities, school boards, and little leagues provide quality play surfaces for their athletes. Over the years, our company’s key asset remains our winning team. Our full service capabilities include the management of each phase of construction. We control time, contain costs and ensure a quality final product, taking your team from Dream to Game Day...
