sunlinkOS is the software infrastructure behind our Marketplace — the technology layer that powers our solar marketplace and the verified contractor network that fulfills it. We build the systems that make solar quoting and purchasing accessible to ordinary homeowners. Our in-house AI design engine turns an address into a permit-ready system layout — roof plane detection, shade and irradiance modeling, panel placement, and production estimates — in seconds, with no sales visit and no manual drafting. On top of that sits the transaction stack: real-time pricing, TPO lease and PPA structuring, credit decisioning, document generation and e-signature, scheduling, milestone tracking, and a homeowner portal. One connected system instead of nine disconnected tools, so a project moves from first click to install-ready without human handoffs. Our R&D is focused on a single problem: removing the cost, friction, and gatekeeping between a homeowner and a solar decision. Everything we build — AI design, automated re-engagement, self-serve checkout — exists to make that decision faster, clearer, and available to more people.
