SunCubes, initiated by Politecnico di Milano engineers, is pioneering energy transfer via laser technology. The innovative system enables long-distance wireless power via a laser-emitting generator and a receiver that captures energy, with a safety shut-off feature to protect wildlife and humans. Having won the 2022 Switch2Product, the Bravo Innovation Hub, and gaining a spot in ESA BIC's two-year incubation program, SunCubes has proven its tech's viability over 50m in a recent PoC. Following T-Tec competition success, it's now planning further PoCs with Leonardo Spa.
