In Suncil, we believe climate change is the key global challenge of our times, therefore we need real, affordable, resilient, clean energy solutions for every part of planet. Our vision is to harvest new energy sources to make power throughout a lifetime, building an intelligent infrastructure that works with and not against the natural world. Suncil creates local energy and solar powered lighting without burial cables – a cheaper, smarter and more effective way of implementing solar energy into cities and communities. Our technologies are based on renewable sources which is a cost-efficient building base for Smart City applications that brings environmental benefits and energy for generations to come. The applications improve the energy security by being independent from the grid. All outdoor lighting solutions can be remotely controlled through a Control Management System which gives considerable benefits in management and maintenance of the lighting grid. In 2008, we launched the first standalone solar powered luminaire – Asima Sun. Equipped with performant optics and incorporated smart controller and battery, it offers lighting throughout the dark hours regardless of previous days’ weather conditions. We combine innovative lighting technology with beautiful aesthetics in the lighting design, we aim for the best possible solutions – for our customers and world.
